Rhinoplasty

While the shape of your nose is usually the result of heredity, the appearance may have been altered in an injury or during prior surgery. Rhinoplasty improves the appearance and proportion of the nose and may also correct impaired breathing caused by structural abnormalities in the nose. Rhinoplasty can change nose size in relation to other facial structures; nose width at the bridge; nose profile and visible humps or depressions on the bridge; nasal asymmetry or deviation; a nasal tip that is too large, drooping, or upturned; or nostrils that are too large, wide or upturned.

The surgery is generally done through incisions inside your nose and possibly an incision on the underside of your nose between your nostrils, concealed by the natural skin crease.
